Jinerva's black and white form could be barely seen in the night as she slipped through the narrow alleys between towering buildings, ignored by the humans and as silent as a shadow. Her tail curled proudly over her back as she sniffed about, ignoring the resterants and apparetment buildings all around. Her paws guided her steadily and surely at a brisk pace common of huskies, one that could take them a long distance with little to no rest. Jinerva was a dog on a mission. she wanted a place to belong. A place she could claim as her own. Jin was an experianced street dog and knew better then most that even if humans were to be avoided, street dogs could not live well without them. This place would be perfect. The humans would not cause them problems because of all the places they could not get to but dogs could.
The femmora husky made it to Central Park. Unlike other places in the busy city of New York City, this place was quiet at night. A few distant couples wondered some of the paths but not many people would bother her here other then the homeless people that would think she was stealing from them. Jinerva didn't pay any heed to the humans. She never did. Abusive and crude. That's what she thought of when someone mentioned humans. Jinerva stopped near the heart of Central Park and turned her muzzle skyward, calling out a claiming howl in clear notes that seemed better suited for the wild tundras of Alaska rather then New York City.
